The FIRST Wakepark in Wales is opening at Glasfryn Parc!

The first Wakepark in Wales is to open at Glasfryn Activity Parc near Pwllheli on Friday 16th July 2010 with a Sesitec System 2.0 cable-tow. Wakeboarding on a cable tow is not weather dependent and is very time-efficient. Ideal for absolute beginners and experienced wakeboarders - there are ramps and obstacles for experienced riders. All safety equipment, instruction from our BWS qualified pro and showers are included (please bring a towel) £20 per person per hour - max four people per session.  First session is 10am and you need to arrive at least half an hour prior to start of your session. S.C.Y.C. (South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club) Sat. 24th July  Dinghy Week Registration starts Sat 24th July

Entries for this year's Abersoch Dinghy Week have been streaming in to the SCYC office in Abersoch. It is hoped that we will have 13/14 fleets sailing. A fabulous sight across the Cardigan Bay.
This very popular Dinghy Regatta is fantastic value at only £110 for 6 days racing but will increase for entries received after the 23rd July.
Sponsored by Animal, Crewsaver & Abersoch Boatyard. There will be fabulous prizes awarded together with Trophies for each competing fleet.
There is a prize draw on the Thurs which promises to be a fantastic evening. Not only will there be fabulous prizes but the band Elephant Juice is playing. Back by popular demand. This will be their third year in our entertainment programme.
The social programme (all incl in the entry fee) has been extended featuring live music on Sun, Mon, Tues and Thurs. Karaoke in the Club is always a favourite and will be on Wednesday 28th July. Live music evenings will commence approximately 6.30pm so all the family can enjoy an evening out.
John Gosling is the Club caterer and will be offering great value meals all week, together with breakfast baps, lunches, drinks and snacks. A Hog Roast has been organized for one of the evenings too.
We hope to see as many of you again this year to enjoy the fabulous sailing that only Abersoch can offer.
